With nearly 15 years of leadership experience at Walmart, Ryland has built a career driving growth across some of the company’s most dynamic and high-impact categories. From early roles in planning and buying to leading multi-billion- dollar businesses in Snacks, Baby Consumables, and Private Brands, Ryland brings deep expertise in merchandising strategy, brand development, and omni-channel execution.

Prior to stepping into the Health & Wellness role, Ryland served as Vice President of Merchandising, where he led high- performing teams focused on category innovation, strategic supplier partnerships, and delivering value to millions of customers every day. His leadership spans across many of Walmart’s Food and Consumables teams — combining strong operational execution with long-term strategic vision.

Today, Ryland leads the Health & Wellness merchandising team across North America, focused on expanding access, driving customer trust, and shaping the future of retail healthcare at scale.
