The NACDS Foundation will be recognizing schools and colleges of pharmacy for their programs focused on innovation and inspiring interest in pharmacy education, aiming to advance patient care and public health. There will be a brief awards ceremony, followed by refreshments and heavy hors d’oeuvres.

Steven C. Anderson FASAE, CAE, IOM is President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS), a position he assumed in 2007. He represents and is the chief spokesperson for an industry that has annual sales of more than $1 trillion, employs more than 3.2 million individuals, and works with suppliers and other partners to help meet the health, wellness, and daily needs of patients and consumers across America. Nearly all Americans (91 percent), live within five miles of a retail pharmacy.

Senior Vice President, Reimbursement, Innovation and Advocacy, and Interim President, NACDS Foundation, National Association of Chain Drug Stores
Christie Boutte is the Senior Vice President of Reimbursement, Innovation, and Advocacy, where she oversees policy development, strategic direction, advocacy, and overall management of the association’s reimbursement portfolio at the federal and state levels and assists with the strategic development of priority issues to advance and expand pharmacy practice and programs. Christie also serves as the Interim President of the NACDS Foundation, providing leadership and strategic oversight to advance the Foundation’s mission in support of patient care, pharmacy innovation, and public health initiatives through research and education.
