As president of Hy-Vee, Inc., Aaron Wiese has been a key voice in shaping retail pharmacy and health care delivery across the Midwest. Since beginning his Hy-Vee career as a student, Aaron’s experiences across all aspects of Hy-Vee’s operations from retail to specialty pharmacy to logistics have given him a unique perspective on how to bring health care services to communities large and small through multiple avenues. Under his leadership, Hy-Vee has become an award-winning health care brand noted for its innovation and patient care. Most recently, he has been leading the launch of Hy-Vee’s Food is Medicine initiatives across the company.

In 2025, Aaron was named Health Care Leader of the Year by The Pinnacle Awards, and in 2024, was named to Drug Store News’ list of 50 Most Influential People in Retail Health. He’s a leader in the health care and retail industries through his service on the National Association of Chain Drug Stores (NACDS), Iowa Healthcare Collaborative, and Iowa Healthiest State Initiative boards of directors.
