Marcel van der Wurff leads strategic CPG accounts for the Amazon Media Group. He joined Amazon.com in January 2013 as a sales leader within the CPG group, where he helped develop and grow Amazon’s advertising business. Before that Marcel spent 11 years at Procter & Gamble in the marketing function. Starting his career in P&G’s Western Europe organization, he worked on building out their Fabric and Baby Care brands. Most recently at P&G he worked on the Duracell brand leading digital strategy and execution in NA. For the past 6 years Marcel has worked closely with some of Amazon’s top Consumer Packaged Goods clients to develop partnership models and advertising strategies across Amazon’s display, video, search and connected device advertising portfolio.
