Brian Gillis leads Instacart’s advertising insights team, responsible for building and scaling the Instacart Customer Insights Platform, which offers brand partners in-depth point-of-sale insights on consumers’ online shopping patterns across the U.S. This includes anonymized insights on what consumers are buying, how they’re finding what they buy, trends over time as their shopping habits evolve, as well as brand-specific data on category share, conversion rates, and other impactful metrics. Brian began his career at General Mills, spending over a decade across marketing and sales. He’s spent the last 12 years in insights consulting with grocery retailers and CPG across North and South America.
